Mysore

Mysore "the sandal wood city is second largest city of Karnataka and is just 14kms from Bangalore situated at an altitude of 77m near to the chamundi Hills. Palaces, gardens and Temples adds to the beauty of Mysore. It was originally known as Mahisuru as demon King Mahishasuran was conquered by Goddess Chamundeswari. Mysore Palace is the major tourist attraction of Mysore. It is famous for sandalwood, silks, ivory, rose & teak wood carved furniture, sandalwood oil, agarbathis, etc. World famous festivel is Mysore dasara.;

Coorg

Coorg is the smallest district and most popular destination for many tourist .One can just get mesmerized by the beautiful waterfalls spots. Coorg is also known as Scotland of India.Literal meaning of Coorg is "Dense Forest on Steep Hill" It is best place for Trekkers and offers a list of dorzens of beautiful treks which trekkers can opt for. Well known for its Coffee plantation, Tea Estates, Black pepper etc. Coorg is an ideal place for outdoor activities, food and Shopping those offering many options.;

Bellary

Bellary is an industrial town which stands amidst a wide, level plain of Black cotton soil. Bellary takes its name from the word Balari which refers to Goddess Durgamma as this Goddess has manifested herself in this town. Prime visiting places are Bear Sanctuary, Sandur and Hampi. Hampi is famous for Rocky Hills and is listed in the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. If dreams were made out of stone, it would be Hampi. The most splendid monument of Hampi is undoubtedly the Vithala Temple Complex with its 56 musical pillars.;

Bijapur

North of Karnataka is the location of Bijapur. Centuries back it was known as Vijayapure, the "City of Victory", from which comes its present name Bijapur.It is rich in Historical Attractions and one can observe most famous monument the Gol Gumbaz in Bijapur. Gol Gumbaz the Biggest Dome in India, standing 126 feet at its base and it is the Mausoleum of Mohammed Adilshah. Bangalore

Bangalore is the Capital of Bangalore which is also referred as "Garden City". Official name of Bangalore is Bangaluru.
